So gross. My 14 mo just had a bowel movement. It was black and tarry, and there was so much of it! It also had well formed round things, that could only be described as looking like black beans. After I cleaned her up I had to inspect this stuff and literally they look like beans, they are obviously undigested food. She has eaten blueberries and apple, which I could clearly see the cut up pieces of apple. Has anyone else experienced this in their child's diaper? Should I be concerned? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

normal. my dc's poo turns black from blueberries, and our ped said that undigested fruits and veggies are normal bc cellulose can cause food to come out that way, esp if not chewed well.... [ Reply | More
