My 30 pound 2 year old still falls asleep in my arms - then I lay him down in his bed once he's asleep. He doesn't do this at day care, just with me, at home. We're TTC. I can't imagine myself pg and carrying him around or rocking him until he falls asleep like I do now. Am I in for a rough road? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Try the Babywhisperer book or website. They have good strategies for this kind of thing. GL [ Reply | More ]

rock him as long as you can and as long as you want to. when you are too pregnant and big, let him fall asleep with his head on your lap if you want. speaking as a mom whose kids are growing up too fast, these days don't last forever. [ Reply | More ]

ita with this, so silly to worry about this little stuff. it's not like the kid is going to go off to college wanting to snuggle with you so he can sleep. [ Reply | More ]
