Yes they are. There are increasing numbers of cases of measles etc due to parents not vaccinating their kids. [ Reply | More

most Americans aren't vaxed against smallpox. But some other diseases are making a comeback, like measles & whooping cough. But I don't know what a public record will achieve for OP. Perhaps a scarlet "V" tattooed onto non-vaxed kids would help out. [ Reply | More

Do you know what immunosuppression is? There are a variety of forms, some make it so the child does not develop immunity even when vaccinated. Additionally, they are much more susceptible to complications from the diseases. [ Reply | More

Luckily, nowhere near that severe. But he's sick all the time and he does not have immunity for most of vaccines (which we staggered to protect him). The thing we discovered is that 3-15% of the vaccinated population is not protected from the disease (depending on the vax). [ Reply | More
