I want to take my 3 month old on Metro North from Grand Central to New Haven. I was planning to use her Bugaboo stroller with the car seat snapped into place. Has anybody done this before? Did you have to fold up the stroller on board, or can you stow it where people stow their luggage? Did you keep the baby in the carseat next to you,or hold her on your lap? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I've been doing that trip with dd since she was weeks old and we never brought a stroller, especially our Bug. We always carried her in the Baby Bjorn, then took her out once we were on the train. We also were picked up in NH by someone with a car seat, so we didn't have to bring one with us. [ Reply | More ]

if you don't have to take your car seat, don't bring the stroller or the seat. use a baby bjorn or a sling, and take dc out once you're on the train. [ Reply | More ]
