I am a wreck. I thought I was between 8-10 wks pg....went Friday for 1st u/s. Womb was visible but no fetus. OB thinks I am only 4-6 wks. Did bloodwork & I get results tomorrow. Anyone BTDT, can offer reassurance, opinion? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

The thing to remember - however painful - is how excruciatingly painful it would be to bring a child into the world who is not healthy and would suffer. I know this is a very controversial statement. BIL has severe birth defects and I told DH before we TTC, I would never carry a baby to term if I knew that it would come into the world to suffer so. [ Reply | More

not or but i have had 2 mc and had no bleeding or cramping either time. i had a blighted ovum at about 6 weeks (i did not find out until an ultrasound at 11 weeks) and i had another mc at about 10 weeks. [ Reply | More

That actually happened to me, and all was fine. I thought I was further along and OB couldn't see the egg sac. Turned out, I was only 5 weeks at the time. Hope the same goes for you. [ Reply | More
