I thought being a WAHM would give me the best of both, but I'm actually finding it more difficult. I have part time help, but just feel I need to work and do errands all within that time frame -- and never feel rested. Anyone btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yes - i work and have always had this fantasy of then having some time to myself at lunch to go get a manicure, etc. Well, because I need to be home at a certain time to relive the babysitter (I own my own business so it is easier for me to be home than dh) - I have to work straight through the day, never go to lunch and then am always behind on the weekends. I have tried taking fridays off which then usually means trying to run errands with one or both dcs in tow...I wouldn't trade it but I no longer harbor any illusions about it giving me a lot of spare time.
