Thinking of moving to Chappaqua. We can get a great house and distance to NYC not an issue for us, but I can't help but thinking that I will be so much further away from everything than southern Westchester because it seems so bucolic/less developed. My dh thinks I am nuts and says equidistant to N. White Plains and Greensich v. alot of southern Westchester. Am I out of it? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OP: What do you have access to that your friend doesn't? (Just trying to get a sense of whether my impression is right and how.) [ Reply | More ]

Everything is so spread out up there. I feel like there are more things to do in Lower Westchester. We both stayed home and I've made more friends with kids in the same amount of time. Look online and check out activities and stuff you would do in each location. [ Reply | More ]
