There's a post on Inside Schools saying that someone from DOE called the poster to ask about missing application. (And her app. really was missing - she did send it in),. After taking down all the info, the caller politely said thanks and people can expect to hear by mid August [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

This sounds like a true nightmare. I feel for that woman, but hopefully the mid-August time frame would apply only to people in this situation, and not everyone? I suppose we'll hear via Insideschools one way or another. [ Reply | More

Stupid UB. It doesn't let me reply to a reply. This is a reply to "Isn't your child asking you yet?" No, she doesn't. We went to an orientation and told her that this is a school she might be going to. She is excited to go to K but she doesn't really care where. [ Reply | More

Oh, that might be the difference. We haven't gone to any orientations and have tried not to mention names in front of her, but she is now anxious b/c everyone in her class is talking about where they're going, parents keep asking her, etc [ Reply | More
