anyone move into a new house/new suburb etc. after school year starts with kids (obviously) considering this for a house we really like for an october 15th close, but part of me thinks we should pass on the house b/c I think it would be so hard to move in october (i would have to drive the kids to school everyday, 45 min. each way...) anyone btdt? we can't get an earlier close date. I'm pretty laid back, but i think that would be so disruptive to my kids, hard enough to move etc. i'm think we should stay firm to an August close and walk if they don't agree...we bid asking price, somethings gotta give, right? [ Reply | More ]

How old are your kids? I think they should be fine starting a few weeks early- or can you move into a local hotel for a bit? [ Reply | More ]
