I have croclings (the crocs that have a more of a strap for the ankle) for my 2 yo. Had the same style for him last summer, too. He does really well walking, running, playing in them and they hold up well. [ Reply | More ]

I wouldn't get Crocs for a DC that young - they can be tricky, a lot of DCs walk right out of them because they aren't an adjustable fit. Get a pair of Tevas instead. [ Reply | More ]

Columbia has great water sandals as well that are softer than tevas (the straps)...my dds prefer these. [ Reply | More ]

Croclings. They have a strap-thingie. DD is 14mo, and does well in them. 19mo. would be fine. Regular crocs are different. [ Reply | More ]

crocs are the ugliest things on the planet, and on little boys are the worst. its like surgical nurse clogs. why would you put these on a toddler? also, hope you don't buy them for dh too. blech! [ Reply | More ]

I just bought polliwalks for my 14 mos old. The strap on the back hugs the ankle better than crocs. She was walking fine in the store with them (also bought them for water shoes) [ Reply | More ]

Beware of Crocs. When they get a tiny bit worn, they turn into slippery nightmares. Had two very bad slips and falls myself, company acknowledged the problem when I called them. [ Reply | More ]

I got stride rite sandals for DD at that age. I felt they were better for her feet than crocs and a more accurate fit. They dried right up. This was more for the park than the ocean/pool though. My sister gets her kids' pool/beach shoes at Target. [ Reply | More ]
