I cant tell if db is teething or has a virus from being in day care for the first time last week. Vomiting, drooling, putting whole hand in mouth, runny poop. Dr. said change formula. Hated soy. I'm at a loss - just gave tylenol and he fell asleep. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

db is 3 months. vomit is pasty and gross - total upchuck. Dr. said it could be a bug...but Dr. Sears said the baby may get stressed out before hand making him suseptible to infection...hmm... [ Reply | More ]

hmmmm.... could be either one - it doesn't really matter which it is. Did you take temp? Do you use bm at all? [ Reply | More ]

you don't have to answer, if you do - concentrate on that - its easier for a virus tummy. But, just keep count of wet diapers, check temp and confort db. That's all you can do. Don't overdose on the tylenol. [ Reply | More ]

no temp. doesnt seem unhappy when pain subsides for an hour at a time. but doesnt want to eat (Very unusual). One dose of tylenol yesterday, and one dose today - and only .6, not the .8 dr. said to do. I'm afraid of orajel because it says for 4 months and he;s only 3. Just got hylands tablets - maybe i'll try that when he wakes. [ Reply | More ]

my ped was anti orajel anyway, so you can skip. The heat can get to babies too. And sometimes they just are not hungry. Just keep an eye on things, you are doing great. [ Reply | More ]

Not sure about the vomiting but all the rest sounds like teething to me. Maybe check again with ped. [ Reply | More ]
