Dh just left for hong kong on business trip, before he left spent an hour lamenting all money we are spending each month.I'm a sahm and he basically makes me feel like I'm a such a drain on our resources..making comments such as 'Well I'm the one who has to go out and earn a living" etc...Wanted to practically kick his ass out the door...we have 2 dds and I feel he doesn't appreciate one bit what I do.. That isn't very fair of him. Tell him what childcare would cost if you were working. I'm sure he would rather have you looking after his kids than you going out to work to pay a nanny to look after them. [ Reply | More

I am sure that he does appreciate what you do (whether he shows it or not is another story). You also should appreciate the unique pressure he is under to be the sole provider for the family. [ Reply | More
