looking at houses in pelham. saw one we really liked but it has 4 bedrooms and I feel like I will wish it had five later on, if we ahve more kids and wnata guest room, etc. is that insane to think 4 isn't enough in the burbs? Also anyone have any opinions on pelham? would love some insight. this house is in siwanoy district... TIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

will you have more than 3 kids? that would be a lot. 4 bed is plenty imo. does the house feel cramped? i fell in love with a 4br house that was actually really big with big bedrooms and it had good flow. went in a bidding war though... gl. [ Reply | More

I live in pelham and love it. a smallish town, but in a good way. friendly people for the most part. i don't have anyone in the elementary schools yet, but siwanoy seems to be the best. colonial is having an issue with space and prospect is nice but farther from train and more spread out (harder to walk everywhere). where is the house? Depends on size of family. We have a 3br with 3 dc. We will probably want to expand in a few years to add another br so they can each have a room, but I can't imagine us with a 5br. We do have a basement though. Thant helps. [ Reply | More
