would you give your husband the address of an old affair you had if he asked for it? I wouldn't - told my husband I wouldn't be a part of it. Was this wrong? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I wouldn't. There shouldn't be any need for it. If the affair is really over and if you are both committed to working things out together, then it should be done with. Maybe he is not quite as over it as he says? [ Reply | More

Oh, he's definitely not over it. I'm even hoping we can work this out in the end. But I definitely don't feel that giving the address proves anything or helps anyone. It's only going to lead to trouble and I feel nothing for this guy. Only my husband. [ Reply | More

counseling can create an environment for productive discussion and can give you both tools to communicate honestly and safely. it's not telling him how to get over it, but it keeps the discussion safe, respectful and productive. so sorry. [ Reply | More
