I want to have my 2.9 year old twin boys toilet trained by the beginning of pre-school in September. Actually, they might even have to be toilet trained in order to start. Thet pee on the potty occasionally when I have them sit before a bath or whatever and have never pooped on it (they mostly poop overnight). Is there any way to do this or are they clearly not ready? Older DS was so much easier. He said he didn't want diapers anymore at 2.5 and that was the end of it. Please advise! I'm dreading this. NYC, BTW, so they can't run around the back yard diaperless. Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my ds ran around the house diaperless. A few messes, but not so bad. [ Reply | More ]

Do one and then the other and let them run around as much as possible wearing underwear under clothes. It's summer so it doesn't matter so much if accidents happen, there's only one layer to deal with [ Reply | More ]
