Venting: Stupid, insensitive SILs...at a baby shower they threw and playing stupid shower games. One game is whoever's birthday is closest to baby's due date wins a prize, etc. One question is whoever has the most children, but they must be children that you yourself gave birth to or you can't count them. Is that not the most ignorant thing you have ever heard? I have a number of friends who are adopting and those children are their children. Irony is that one SIL had her babies through IVF. You'd think she'd be more sensitive to the challenges of conceiving and the joy of having a child. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
