Women looking to teach your child about homelessness: I posted on your post, but don't know if you are still checking. Fifth Aveneue Presb Church has a homeless shelter within the church. They also give coffee each morning to the people who sleep on their steps, they will have someone who can talk to your children. BUT, you might consider finding a shelter for woman and children. One idea is to bake a birthday cake once a month and take it to the shelter with birthday hats and blowers so that all the children with birthdays that month can celebrate.
