Question on behalf of my babysitter. She lives in Brownsville with bad district public schools. She has been sending her dc's to a private christian school(not Catholic, Pentacostal I think) but doesnt particularly like the new principal and its always a struggle to pay the tuition. A friend of hers recently got her kids into a nearby charter school that sounds really great to her. How does she go about getting in? is it too late for September? Any advice? (I have a toddler and infant so no experience here)TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Charter schools vary in their admission procedures. Your babysitter can ask her friend. [ Reply | More ]

Get the name of the school from her and go to the school's website. I did the same thing for my babysitter and printed out the admissions forms for her. This was a couple of months ago though, so don't remember what the deadlines were. [ Reply | More ]
