when did you stop allowing your dc to see your or dh's naked body? i have read that 2.5 is the time to stop in two differnt sources. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OMG I can not believe people would avoid having a 2 year old see either parent naked that just seems really weird to me. I think you let them see you naked until they are uncomfortable with it, which unless you make a big deal about it will be much older than 2. Why are Americans so puritanical? [ Reply | More

I just think that makes a big deal of something that should not be - its your child why should bodies be private in this context? In my experience my ds now 9 has made it very clear when he was uncomfortable with either me seeing him naked or visa-versa. [ Reply | More

We live in a small apartment with one bathroom and almost 3 yo DS is potty training. It would be impossible to avoid being seen naked and we don't try. It's not remotely a big deal to any of us. [ Reply | More

that seems strangely young to me. My kids are 3 and 6 (one boy, one girl) and they see my dh and I naked on occassion. We don't walk around naked, but they might come into the bathroom when one of us is in the shower, or into our room when when of us is changing. I don't see how this is problematic at all.
