Here is my theory - in a perfect world, DOE would have mailed letters by end of day today. People would receive Sat and Monday - and then have the week to decide, in accordance with the June 13th deadline D3 lottery appears to have. In reality - I don't think that is going to happen and am not expecting to receive anything prior to June 16th - well past the other lottery deadline. Sigh... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

it is in their interest to coordinate this and I have been saying all along that they will. I think they have put off the lottery for this long to make sure they could do the lottery right before G&T results come out, so that no musical chairs will happen [ Reply | More

This actually could make good sense, especially since they apparently just publicized the lottery date last week right? What's with calling some people who did not submit forms? I am hoping they did that AFTER making the placements just in case, not before placements since printing and mailing thousands of letters would take a while! So you think they are mailing today and potentially we could get even tomorrow? [ Reply | More

I am ammending my theory. they said week of 6/9, so perhaps it will be next week. monday perhaps? let's hope that is when we recieve it. at any rate, it can't be much longer [ Reply | More

But then why are they calling people yday and today to check on non returned choices? doesn't make sense. they wouldn't be able to remedy if letters are being mailed today. i think next week mailing at the earliest [ Reply | More
