Have you ever been in a situation with someone where it feels like you can't stop fighting? What I mean is that the person basically wants you to stop fighting with them so that they can continue being a rude s.o.b. to you? My dad is doing this right now. He's hooked up with a new woman is behaving like a child. We invite him over for dinner or some event, and if he shows at all, it's hours late. He lies about everything from silly stuff to major stuff. I feel like we just get walked on by him, but if we pull back from him for a bit, he will say that we are keeping him from his grandchildren or some sort of bs. So frustrating!
