According to a poster on an Insideschools forum "some" g&t letter have gone out and a child in her school has gotten an acceptance (although she herself had nothing in the mail yesterday and today). Could that possibly be true? The only thing I could think of was they did sibs first and sent them out? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think the only way it makes any sense (given that we know they were calling folks today to make sure they weren't applying) Was that they did siblings first and then plan to do everyone else. That was part of the stated priority for filling seats (although we know how that worked for pre-K ;-) ) [ Reply | More

maybe they will mail letters in batches by score band as they fill them? (e.g., siblings then 99s, 98s etc.) We know that despite what they publicly admitted that they sent the higher scores out first with the score reports [ Reply | More

you will have to send your acceptance letter to the DOE and the school will then send you the required forms that you and kid's doctor will have to fill out. Then you usually call the school to make an appointment to register where you have to bring the child with you (and all the forms, proof of residence, etc.) [ Reply | More
