Teething tips? DB is howling like a stuck pig. Doesn't like the teething ring that I bought for him. Will only teeth on my knuckles which is getting a little old. TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

For Pete's sake, give him some tylenol. [ Reply | More ]

I just don't want to be giving him Tylenol everyday for the next year . . . he's only 4 m.o. But, yes, ped said tylenol was fine. Was just curious about non-medicinal things people had tried. [ Reply | More ]

It won't be for a year, and my ped said up to 3 straight weeks of daily tylenol was fine, as long as it wasn't around the clock. Let go of your adult preferences about medication (especially in regard to such a safe drug) and relieve your child's pain, silly! Seriously, if you're in pain, especially dental pain, and need medication, I hope someone offers you a wet washcloth. Those tricks are effective - to a point. If they're not working, dose him up.
