B-day party question - having a casual party for 3 year old ds, just a bbq and hanging out. I would like to discourage presents - can I write something like "your presence is a present...no need to bring anything..." If not that, any good suggestions - and my son is just not that hooked into the whole present thing yes so I think we could get away with it this year. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I put "no gifts please" on my db's first bday party invitation and everyone brought a gift. He was only 1 and didn't "get" the whole gift thing and I hate writing thank you notes, so I REALLY did not want gifts. SIGH. [ Reply | More ]
