90 Olsat here who didn't return form: just got a call from DOE checking on status. they also wanted to know where we would be sending dc next year, zoned, private, etc. (I posted in a call thread last night and wanted to update) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

So, they are really working on this. My question: was your phone no. on your application was correct? Mine was totally wrong , so does many other people, it seems. So I'm curious to find this out. No, it was wrong on both the forms they sent me (they sent one and they resent by express mail about 2 days later) and wrong with different numbers each time. [ Reply | More

Thank you for letting us know. Well, as people below said they haven't finished the placement, it sound like they are almost finished pre-work for the placement. If the placement is actually done by computer, placement itself shouldn't take that long. Hope they'll mail out letters this weekend or at the latest early next week. Am I the optimist? Thanks. I was on last night, when the 99 person who didn't return form posted about her call from the DOE. With the publicity over the preK & middle school problems, maybe they are being extra-cautious with the G&T process? One can only hope. [ Reply | More

I don't think they can wait until week of June 16 given that people who got lottery placements need to register by next Friday (June 13) I think letters need to get to us by next Wed or Thu. [ Reply | More
