i got flamed for this yesterday but i'm curious to know what the morning crowd thinks. i said that the real benefit to private school is that the parents have more control. whether it's on the curriculum, the administrative decisions, the type of students that are admitted, the goals of the school, etc. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

this is somewaht true, but the parents in some public schools in suburbs also have a lot more say in school than they due in city publics. [ Reply | More ]

either two people posted something like this yesterday or your post yesterday was much less PC. For the younger kids, the biggest benefit is teacher/student ratio. For the older kids, it is the school's ability to get rid of kids who make trouble. For all it is involved parents. [ Reply | More ]
