help. How can I find someone to babysit every morning, starting at 645 am so that I can leave for work at 7 am. they MUST be reliable. I will pay 3 hours every morning even though it will take them all of 90 minutes, tops. Post here, that's a given, post on craigslist, but no one wants the early start, complaining about it. Suggestions? I don't want to pay a fee to a service/agency. thanks [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I do not think you will have that much trouble. I have had 3 or 4 people willing to start at 7am. Just advertise exactly what you want and you will be surprised how many people are interested. Also try Sittercity as this is a good job for a student. Finally, I do NOT recommend paying for extra hours if not worked, it sets up a bad dynamic. Just offer a higher hourly wage and that will attract people more. [ Reply | More ]

Post on NYU, Columbia & Barnard's job listings. Try & get someone who lives in your neighborhood & if you end up w/a student have a back up plan for the inevitable day she flakes [ Reply | More ]
