Would you put your dc's desk facing a window or a blank wall...I'm thinking the wall maybe better for concentration, but the window better for dreaming???? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OP- well, I'm having it built into the wall so it's a decision. He's 5 so I'm not asking him. [ Reply | More ]

How old? I'd be inclined to face the wall (and put a bulletin board on it) [ Reply | More ]

I have 2 boys and they are very little but I truly truly believe if you treat them like they need a padded playroom they will need one. Don't sell you son short...give him a desk where he can breath and he will learn more [ Reply | More ]

definitely a window. Because it helps the eyes to switch back and forth from a short focus to a long focus. And it helps the brain too. The child will be able to stay at the desk longer if they get that visual break. [ Reply | More ]
