moving at the end of june (out of state). Haven't told nanny yet - doing it on Monday, which would give her 3 weeks to find a new job. and telling her i will give her 2 weeks sev if she sticks it out with me (she's only been with us for 4 mo). I'll also be an awesome reference for her as well as send out a posting to my local play spaces. anything else i can do? i feel terrible... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

post an employer ad for her on craigslist and you will likely find her a job to start when you move [ Reply | More ]

I, personally, think it's terrible. I can't imagine treating a nanny that way--I'd give her as much notice as possible, and start helping her find another job right away. [ Reply | More ]
