Here is what I don't understand - when I have a generic question, like where can I buy such and such online, why do people slam me b/c I check off all cities? why do I need to just check off where I live if I am asking a question about the web?? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Because the city boards should be topics relevant to those cities. Think about it - we can all choose to look at multiple boards. If I want to only look at NYC relevant posts, I'll only check NYC. If I want to look at NYC posts and more general posts, I'll check NYC & general. You don't need to post your question to all the boards. People will see it if they want to see that type of question. ^^exactly - you only would need to post to multiple boards if each person could only view one board. Since we can view multiple boards - no need to post to multiple boards. It is kind of annoying, especially when you post to something like NY Schools which has a very specific topic & audience. [ Reply | More
