We moved from NYC to Boston burb a year ago and bought a condo (it's a single family, but in a condo association) -- didn't love the area, no T, have some shady neighbors so decided to move. Found a GREAT house with one issue -- it's one house away from a pretty busy street. Right now it's dead quiet where we are, there you can hear cars, of course, outside and windows are open. (pretty quiet inside otherwise). I know I sound like an idiot worrying about this, especially after living in Manhattan for 10 yrs, but I guess I wondering if we will regret not finding a totally quiet place. Any thoughts? Have you checked it out during evening hours to see what the traffic noise is like at that time? [ Reply | More ]
