anyone watch 30 days last night? (New show by that guy who did the McDonalds expose - blanking on his name) It was about coal miners in West Virginia and I thought it was hilarious that they had subtitles for the miners. They are apeaking english after all! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

DH is bilingual but learned English 2nd. We live in the south and he very often struggles to understand people with deep southern accents. And he's lived in the US since 1992. [ Reply | More

OP I know. I understand why they did I guess but it struck me as funny. I'm from the south so maybe I had an easier time understanding. Still funny though. WHat did you think of the show in general?
