disagree. don't give toddler the choice of going back to crib. that's the kiss of death! just move into bed and move on, dealing with the issues as they arise. [ Reply | More

we took ours out but after three solid weeks of screaming and nightmares, we went out and bought another crib. six months later he was ready, but in the meantime, we all slept. [ Reply | More

oh, well i guess if you moved the child too soon that makes sense. i was thinking of it from the perspective of if the child is a good age - 2.5 or older - for 99% of the situations it will be best just to move him and not look back. [ Reply | More

don't know. I'm not in NYC. Call around - maybe a pro life place? (Gasp - save the flaming girls - many of them have programs for moms who decide to keep their babies) Catholic social services perhaps? [ Reply | More

You can advertise it on Craigslist as free to anyone who will pick up if you want to give it away. You can put in the ad that you'd like it to go to someone who would benefit from getting it given to them. [ Reply | More
