My 4yo dd cries ALL the time! Most of the time it's b/c her sister (14mo) is getting into her things and she doesn't understand that the younger one is a baby. I feel like I'm losing it with the older dd b/c she's constantly crying over every little thing. Any else btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

does she have her own space where the baby can't get into her stuff? does she have jobs around the house/apt so she feels like she's growing up? [ Reply | More ]

oh yes, my 4yo is a real drama queen. It made me laugh today when she explained the reason she slammed the door on her 18mo sister is b/c she didn't want her sister to mess up her things, b/c "she likes her things to be neat" (yeah, right -- she's as messy as they come). There are certain things she's only allowed to play with when her sister is sleeping or otherwise occupied (e.g. polly pocket) and there are other things that they are both allowed to play with.
