These news stories on the value of a SAHM (117K) are so ridiculous. Does anyone find any value in this information? What's the point? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

As a SAHM, I don't find these news stories valuable at all. I think the point is to make society say "oh SAHMs do have value after all." But, I think most women who choose to stay at home do it regardless of what some economist values their worth, whether it be $1 or $1M [ Reply | More ]

I am writing an article about whether being a SAHM is the hardest job in the world. What do all of you think? [ Reply | More ]

yes and no. on a face value level, no it doesn't mean anything. but i think it's positive for a couple of reasons...i think any PR sahms can get, teh better off women are. i think it's nice for me and for dh to see a list of all the things i do (or am supposed to be doing). [ Reply | More ]

I liked to know how much should be added to my salary based on what I do at home, while still holding down a job OH. [ Reply | More ]

while you're at it, figure out what should be added to my dh's salary for taking out the trash, cooking, driving us places, and taking dd to the playground every weekend. [ Reply | More ]
