Took my DS to eye doctor for a possible lazy eye. He turned out to be extremely far sighted instead. Does a 8 moth old really need eye glasses? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

The farsightedness is causing the lazy eye. If you think glasses are not the right solution get a second opinion. My dd is also extremely farsighted and has strabismus so only one eye was focusing. She is behind in a lot of things because it went undiagnosed for until she was 4 yo. I wish she had been diagnosed earlier. [ Reply | More
