When did your child transition to one nap? Our 10 mo. old is fighting his morning nap like crazy. Moved it to 11 am and he goes down with less crying but seems tired before that. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I should add that he hasn't really taken an afternoon nap for weeks. At most he'll snooze for a few minutes in the stroller, but never more than 15. [ Reply | More

My 12 mo is doing the same thing. I'm going to see how afternoon napping goes today, and if she doesn't nap, we'll start experimenting with 1 nap per day tomorrow. [ Reply | More

At exactly 1 year, he would no longer go down for a 2nd nap. So we pushed the AM nap later until it became a longer midday nap. [ Reply | More
